ACE v0.8.1
Highlights
Skill imports no longer corrupt the school repo with accidental submodules. A skill rooted at an imported repo's top level used to carry the repo's .git along with it, which git then recorded as a gitlink (submodule entry) in the school — silently breaking pulls for every consumer. Import copies now skip VCS metadata entirely, ace school pull warns and skips already-broken gitlink entries instead of failing, and project-side ace pull warns when a pulled skill tree shows integrity problems.
Improvements
- Space-separated school specifiers —
ace setup prod9 schoolnow works, both as two CLI arguments and in the interactive prompt, alongside the existingprod9/schoolform. - Direct-edit hint — when you're only adding or removing a skill or two,
ace setupnow points out that editingace.tomldirectly is quicker than re-running the picker.
