A shrunk, non-debuggable release build with the fork-h brand, crimson dark theme, encrypted local tracker that starts each day afresh, optional profile sync, simplified delivery settings, and a prepared Swiggy basket/payment/tracking flow with checkout recovery.

Swiggy connection and real ordering remain gated until developer access and staging verification are complete. This release does not enable live payments. UPI authorization happens in the user's UPI app. WorkOS remains staging. The Simulator is a developer testing build and is no longer published as a second user APK.

Hungii v0.8.1 · Android preview

Install hungii.apk — one Hungii app, Android 8+.

This update introduces the continuous fork-h icon and matching outlined Hungii wordmark from the supplied design reference. The same identity appears across app headers, onboarding, repository and prototype.

The launcher icon adapts to device masks. Android 13+ supporting launchers can tint its monochrome silhouette to the wallpaper: enable Themed icons in the phone’s wallpaper/style settings. Otherwise it remains crimson on near-black. Hungii’s in-app palette stays crimson.

The stable development signing key allows updates from v0.8.0. Backend and Android checks passed; readable broker return messages are deployed to Mumbai. Live ordering and payments remain disabled pending Swiggy access and staging verification. WorkOS remains staging.

Live ordering and payments remain disabled until Swiggy developer access and staging verification are complete. WorkOS remains staging. UPI authorization happens in the user’s UPI app. Customized items still require contract verification.

The Simulator is an internal developer testing build and is no longer published as a second user APK. The attached synthetic checkout video uses fictional data; it is not Swiggy staging or a real delivery.

Hungii v0.7.5 · Mobile design improvements

Hungii’s Android design checkpoint applies the three UI/UX videos supplied in the design thread.

• Four main destinations: Home, Meals, Assistant and My day; Saved lives under Meals.
• A clearer Home, editable starting plans before optional sign-in, and contextual day/filter sheets with readable labels and larger touch targets.
• Meal name, restaurant and price together; allowance context, actual shortlist progress, persistent Pass/Keep/Undo, and distinct loading/error/empty states.
• Basket quantity shortcuts and a persistent returned total. Failed updates require a refresh before checkout.

Before/after screenshots and device verification. Both Android flavors passed their 20 unit-test executions, assembly and lint; repository, backend and Assistant checks also run in CI.

Install hungii-preview.apk for the account/local-planning build, or hungii-simulator.apk for fictional meals, synthetic MCP baskets and mock checkout. Android 8+ is required. The stable development signing certificate supports an update over the existing preview. SHA256SUMS.txt verifies the downloads.

The Simulator needs Tailscale plus the running local gateway/agent. Its optional cloud Assistant uses opt-in inference. This is a development-signed prerelease; WorkOS is staging, Swiggy live access remains approval-gated, and live cart mutation/orders/payment remain disabled. Repository hardening preview: bounded request bodies, safer MCP session recovery and resource cleanup, validated Assistant input and controlled concurrent turns. Simulator services can restart after reboot. Android local storage is explicitly excluded from platform cloud backup and device transfer; optional Hungii profile sync remains separate.

Install hungii-simulator.apk for fictional meals, MCP carts/coupons and mock UPI/QR/COD checkout, with an optional Groq Free Assistant. The phone needs Tailscale and an awake host running the gateway/Assistant. No real order or payment is created.

Install hungii-preview.apk for the local tracker, WorkOS staging sign-in and optional profile/preferences sync. Live Swiggy access remains approval-gated; live carts, orders and payments are disabled.

Both APKs are Android 8+ development previews (version 0.7.4, code 12), signed with the existing preview certificate for updates. Compare downloaded files with SHA256SUMS.txt.

Validation: 34 Deno tests, seven no-inference Assistant tests, eight Android transport tests, both builds and lint, repository hygiene and CI. The Android backup warning is resolved; existing lint advisories remain. OEM device-transfer behavior has not been independently certified. Synthetic carts/orders clear when the server restarts; receipt/payment recovery remains unfinished. The existing hosted WorkOS/Supabase backend was not redeployed by this repository cleanup.
