• Daily validation batches (#477, #481, #486, #487, #492, #494, #495, #499, #500) applied dual-source stock metadata fixes (sectors, names, ISINs, countries) across ATHEX::ALPHA, BMV::CIEB, TSE/FSX/XSTU/OTC NGK lines, TSXV::PRS-H, NYSE MKT::NSTR, and related rows; recorded external delisting evidence for NGX::STACO, Borsa Italiana::EVA, and BHB::BANADER without deleting rows (#487).

• Symbol-change apply (#476) overlays live nasdaqlisted.txt, otherlisted.txt, and SEC company_tickers_exchange.json over stale masterfile rows, verifies renames with same-ISIN or shared-SEC-CIK evidence, writes listing_transitions.csv for strict safe-merge, and sets names from the official directory row. Applied seven high-confidence US renames (e.g. NASDAQ::LRHC→SRTM, NASDAQ::MIMI→AXNX); ATII→NANO stays blocked on SEC CIK mismatch.
• Refreshed daily symbol-change review/apply artifacts (#461–#466, #483, #489) and weekly drift (#467) and delisting-candidate (#468) reports since v3.43.1.
• Recorded NYSE→Nasdaq venue transitions for LUMN and NXDR with SEC 8-K evidence (#471); ASX renames PDI→PDI Gold and WEB→WebBeds in official reference and metadata (#471). Follow-up (#474) carries WKN/FIGI/LEI from dropped NYSE::LUMN to NASDAQ::LUMN, preserves reviewed former-name aliases, and closes AU000000PDI8 same-issuer review for ASX::PDI/OTC::PDIYF.
• Resolved four open identity decisions (#480): BMV::CIEB Mexican ISIN MXP201161017, SPYM splg historical alias, stale NYSE::ETHE drop, and NYSE ARCA/BATS parity in duplicate-alias scoring (0 alias resolutions changed on current data).
• Masterfile rotation parser hardening: KRX/Vienna/DSE HTML read_html no-table failures mark the source unavailable instead of aborting the batch (#470); PSX listed-companies accepts empty #XID and omits the token on sector requests (#496).

Fixed

• Allowlisted NYSE::PAPL (Pineapple Financial Inc., Canadian issuer CIK 1938109) in foreign_isin_reviewed.csv after SEC ingest listed PAPL/NYSE; corrected NYSE MKT::PAPL reviewed ISIN to CA72303K4054 (#472).
• Dropped 64 stale US ETF predecessor rows after same-ISIN renames (#488: 45 rows; #493: 19 rows including NYSE ARCA::JAGG→BATS::BBAG venue moves) and retired duplicate NYSE ARCA::SGOV vs NYSE::SGOV (#478).
• Fixed German venue-default vs depositary domicile logic so new XETRA foreign-ISIN lines no longer inherit incorrect Germany country (#484); aligned OTC::MGIMF name to MGI Media & Games Invest screener.

Scope

• This remains a merge claim, not stable or complete. Source licensing, official_reference_gap recall, and missing identifiers stay explicit. Confirmed external delistings in validation notes (STACO, EVA, BANADER, and others) are documented but not auto-dropped. StockAnalysis backfill remains secondary and empty-field-only. Snapshot after rebuild: 65,662 primary tickers, 97,729 listing rows, 64,340 primary ISINs (98.0%), 64,375 sector/category values, 33 entry-quality warnings, and 11,255 source-gap rows.
