• Templates in any language: the tools find the default planes and the origin by what they are, not by their English
  names, so parts and assemblies made from a localized template work too (tested with renamed planes). Please report
  any language issue.
• Your file is backed up first: before the first change to a file you opened, a copy goes to FullyDefined backups
  in your user folder. If the copy can't be made, the tools won't save over your file.
• Faster: most calls make fewer requests to SOLIDWORKS, above all on sketches with many entities.
• step_mate keeps your pictures: an existing picture is never replaced; the next free name is used and reported.

Fixed

• Flat-pattern DXF: the bend notes are now on layer BEND with the bend lines, so layer 0 holds only what is cut. Before,
  a laser or waterjet program could cut the note text.
• The weldment cut list is much quicker on a frame with many members.
• An equation that drives a size the tools dimensioned from a drawing now makes that size yours, and the result says
  what it was renamed to.

  lines no longer runs past the time limit and leaves SOLIDWORKS busy.

• Building from a drawing: the assistant reads a dimensioned drawing more carefully. It places every
  dimension, section and detail before it builds, never lets a reference (REF) size drive the model, reads two
  diameters on one hole as a counterbore or countersink, and compares every view with the finished model at the
  end. Where a size can't be read from the drawing, it models its likeliest reading and tells you which sizes it
  estimated.
• A rough request gets a complete plan: ask for a part in a few words and the assistant answers with one plan
  that gives every size, hole and material, each marked as suggested, for you to confirm or change before it builds.
• Reported numbers are measured: every mass, volume and size the assistant reports comes from measuring the
  finished model. A number it works out instead is labelled as an estimate.
• Weldment profiles and forming tools are found in the SOLIDWORKS installation you are running, wherever its
  design library lives.

Fixed

• The installer reports a failure (and a silent install exits with code 1) when its setup step could not start,
  instead of saying it finished.
• Changing a dimension that an equation drives is refused with the equation's name, instead of seeming to work;
  the dimension list shows which equation drives each one.
• A pattern's instance count shows as a whole-number count, not as a length in mm.
• Linking a custom property to a value that doesn't exist now gives a warning instead of a blank property.

• STL export for 3D printing (export_stl): fine, coarse or custom resolution, in the unit your slicer
  expects.
• Slots in sketches (draw_slot): straight slots, fully defined from your sizes.
• Change assemblies: replace a component with another part or a new version and see every mate kept or broken
  (replace_component); delete a component and its mates (delete_component).
• Exploded views: explode an assembly step by step and show it exploded or collapsed (create_exploded_view,
  show_exploded).
• Custom properties: set and read part numbers, descriptions and linked values such as the material
  (set_custom_properties, list_custom_properties).
• Drawings to a standard: a bill of materials with your own columns such as material or part number
  (add_bom_column), centre marks and centrelines (add_center_marks, add_centerlines), and the decimals your
  dimensions show (set_dimension_precision).

Better

• The assistant's guidance covers more real situations: units that are not given, sizes read from a photo,
  diameters on turned parts, bolt circles, your own countersinks, sweeps and lofts, changing a part later, no undo,
  and exploded views before measuring.
• The installer's check reports PASS when the test part passes, even with a note about your setup, and never waits
  for ever behind a SolidWorks message.
• Installing and removing now leave your Windows PATH exactly as it was.
• export_stl no longer warns that SolidWorks' STL settings were left changed when they were not.
