Changed: Tab no longer acts as a hotstring boundary. Tab and Shift+Tab pass through unchanged and reset abbreviation matching, preventing accidental expansion in the next input field.
-
Fixed: During rapid successive snippet insertions and hotstring expansions,
{{clipboard}}now reads the previous user clipboard contents instead of temporary snippet text. Newer copies from other applications take precedence, and reading the variable does not change the clipboard. -
Fixed: Exiting btText shortly after inserting a snippet or expanding a hotstring now completes pending clipboard restoration before the application closes, while preserving newer copies from other applications.
-
Fixed: Opening btText from the notification area now inserts snippets into the most recently active application, even after switching applications while btText was hidden. The taskbar, desktop, and their helper and menu windows are not used as paste targets.
-
Fixed: Metafile graphics in the previous clipboard contents are now restored correctly after inserting a snippet or expanding a hotstring.
-
Fixed: Hotstrings with input variables are now executed in the original target window after the input dialog is confirmed, replacing the entered shortcut. This works without an input timeout and without focus loss when switching windows. The original input field is refocused if it is still present. Closed or reused target windows will still be rejected.
-
Fixed: Hotstrings now also work in applications where Windows does not expose the input field focus. Target window identity is still checked before insertion. For hotstrings without an input dialog, available field focus and intervening keyboard and mouse actions also guard replacement.
