ProfileBar puts your Chrome profiles in the macOS menu bar so you can switch with one click or a keyboard shortcut.

Highlights

  • Shows each Chrome profile using its own avatar.
  • Switches to an existing profile window, even when it is in another Space.
  • Opens the profile when it is not already running.
  • Supports a global keyboard shortcut for each profile.

Install

  1. Download ProfileBar-1.0.0-macos-arm64.dmg below.
  2. Open the disk image and drag ProfileBar to Applications.
  3. Open ProfileBar and grant Accessibility access when prompted. This is required to focus an existing Chrome window.

ProfileBar requires macOS 14 or later, an Apple silicon Mac, and Google Chrome.

The app is signed with a Developer ID certificate and notarized by Apple. Its source code is available in this repository.
