2.2.5

🍪 Biscuit Release Note

⚡️New features

• Translate pages on your device in English, Japanese, German, Spanish, French, Korean, Portuguese, and Simplified or Traditional Chinese. Page text is never sent to a translation service.
• Translate from the toolbar or right-click menu in normal tabs, Link Preview, and split views. Choose your preferred language, correct the detected page language, or return to the original text.
• Download and manage language packs, see which packs are already downloaded, and translate offline after the required packs are installed.

💪🏻Improvements

• Remember your preferred translation language across pages and restarts.
• Keep forms, editable text, and code unchanged while translating, and preserve links and text formatting where they can be mapped safely.
• Updated Electron to 43.8.7.

🐞Bug

• Fixed technical English pages failing to start translation when language detection was uncertain.
• Prevented isolated words with empty translations from stopping the entire page translation or disappearing.
• Fixed a crash on Linux Wayland when a hidden window is used as the parent.
