Getting Started

Option A: Docker (fastest)

git clone https://github.com/ahmershahdev/commerza.git && cd commerza
docker compose up -d --build --wait

• Storefront: http://localhost:8080
• Admin: http://localhost:8080/admin-login, signing in as admin@commerza.test / Docker-Admin-2026! (local stack only)
• Emails, including admin 2FA codes, are written to storage/mail/ inside the container: docker compose exec app ls -t storage/mail

Option B: XAMPP

1. Clone into C:/xampp/htdocs/commerza and start Apache + MySQL.
2. Import the database:

   mysql -u root -e "CREATE DATABASE commerza CHARACTER SET utf8mb4 COLLATE utf8mb4_unicode_ci"
   mysql -u root commerza < database/commerza.sql

3. Copy .env.example to .env and set COMMERZA_MAIL_DRIVER=log, COMMERZA_CAPTCHA_BYPASS_LOCAL=1, and the COMMERZA_ADMIN_BOOTSTRAP_* email and password.
4. Open http://localhost/commerza/.

Reset an admin password: php scripts/dev/reset_admin_password.php admin@example.com "New-Strong-Pass-2026!"
