First tagged version. MarketClock is feature-complete (milestones M1 to M5); it goes live at marketclock.ahmershah.dev in February 2027 as v1.0.0. Pre-1.0 versions may still change the API between minor versions.

What's in it

Calendars: closures and half days for the 30 markets in the holidays library, each with its own weekend; is-trading-day, next and previous trading day, trading days in a range; live open or closed status with a countdown in exchange time; iCalendar feeds and CSV downloads; a page per market and year.

Settlement and overlap: T+0 to T+10 across up to 10 markets, counted only on days every market is open; settlement cycles stored with their effective date and regulator source (US, Canada, UK); overlap of trading days; a business-day calculator.

Data quality: official NYSE, Nasdaq and LSE calendars stored with their sources and compared day by day with the library; all match.

Web app: markets list, year calendars, tools, browser-only watchlist with notifications, embeddable status card, light and dark themes, 3D globe and error pages, offline page.

Engineering: pure date logic with 100% branch coverage, tests against MySQL, OpenAPI generated from Pydantic with generated frontend types checked in CI, Redis cache per library version, rate limit, CSP and security headers, production Docker images.
