Adapts docking layout to DeepSeek Harness 0.2.1-rc.2, including Session/Workspace API changes and workspace file access. Includes the tab-header focus and sizing improvements since 0.2.0-rc.2.

  • Requires DSH ^0.2.1-rc.2, Cordis ^4.0.5, and Node.js ^22.19 || >=24.
  • Native DSH right sidebar works without a companion plugin. The optional shared bottom panel integrates with dsh-better-sidebar@0.28.0.
  • Older DSH installations should retain their matching plugin version.

Validation: 66 tests, typecheck, production build, and package creation passed. The validated source tree matches merged main commit a725be6. Previous local runtime checks covered native right-sidebar mounting without the companion plugin; authenticated file/terminal operations were not covered by that isolated check.

Install from the attached release package:

dsh plugin --profile web add https://github.com/ai-eks/dsh-docking-layout/releases/download/v0.2.1-rc.2/ai-eks-dsh-docking-layout-0.2.1-rc.2.tgz

2eff4ef

Adapts the plugin to DeepSeek Harness 0.2.0-rc.2. Requires DSH ^0.2.0-rc.2, Cordis ^4.0.4, and Node.js ^22.19 || >=24.

  • Update DSH peer and development dependencies, lockfile, and exact prerelease age exemptions.
  • Keep the existing docking, Session, Workspace, and optional bottom-panel integration.
  • Recommend dsh-better-sidebar@0.24.1 for the optional shared bottom panel.
  • Document the published 0.1.7-rc.1 fallback for DSH 0.1.7.

Install from the attached release package:

dsh plugin --profile web add https://github.com/ai-eks/dsh-docking-layout/releases/download/v0.2.0-rc.2/ai-eks-dsh-docking-layout-0.2.0-rc.2.tgz

DSH 0.1.7 users should retain the compatible published package:

dsh plugin --profile web add @ai-eks/dsh-docking-layout@0.1.7-rc.1 --save-exact

Validation: frozen dependency installation, 67 tests, typecheck, production build, package contents and integrity, npm publish dry run, and git diff checks passed. The merge commit has the same Git tree as the validated PR head.

Changes: #9.
Release commit: 2eff4ef32674d70b8ac2be5a8fe2ad4c7cca7578.
The attached npm tarball includes all 75 package files and a SHA-256 checksum.

Published to npm as @ai-eks/dsh-docking-layout@0.2.0-rc.2; the npm latest tag selects this version. The registry SHA-512 integrity matches the attached GitHub release tarball. A fresh registry package download was independently verified against all 75 release files.

Install or update from npm:

Adapts the docking layout to DeepSeek Harness 0.1.7-rc.1. Requires DSH ^0.1.7-rc.1, Cordis ^4.0.4, and Node.js ^22.19 || >=24.

  • Update main-session selection, workspace navigation, and renamed UI icons for DSH 0.1.7.
  • Prevent reentrant frame navigation from leaving the selected tab and embedded conversation out of sync.
  • Keep settings and global panels open when embedded clients finish loading.
  • Preserve the existing conversation groups, shared right sidebar, and optional Better Sidebar bottom workbench.

Install or update:

dsh plugin --profile web add @ai-eks/dsh-docking-layout@latest

The npm latest tag selects 0.1.7-rc.1. DSH 0.1.5 users should retain the previous compatible version:

dsh plugin --profile web add @ai-eks/dsh-docking-layout@0.1.5-rc.1 --save-exact

Optional companion: dsh-better-sidebar@0.21.1. Its hot-disable/re-enable lifecycle has an independently reproduced defect: duplicate registration and inactive-context errors can leave the Files page without a viewer until the page is refreshed. This also reproduces without docking-layout installed. Refresh after toggling Better Sidebar.

Validation on merge commit: frozen dependency installation, 67 tests, typecheck, peer checks, production build, package-content checks, and npm publish dry run. Prior Computer Use testing covered native and Better Sidebar file previews, Better Sidebar editing with filesystem read-back, terminal process preservation across workspace switches and collapse/expand, independent right/bottom workspaces, and restored panel state.

Changes: #7.
Release commit: 5148f3895f93575fd4c5d157e1ddfeab768c37a6.
The attached npm tarball was built from this merge commit and includes a SHA-256 checksum.

Post-publication verification: npm registry reports latest: 0.1.7-rc.1; published SHA-1/SHA-512 match the prepared tarball. A fresh npm package installation succeeded, and all 75 installed files match the release tarball byte for byte.

@ai-eks ai-eks released this 11 Sep 07:53

Adds DeepSeek Harness 0.1.5 support and shared workspace panels that stay independent of the active conversation. Requires DSH ^0.1.5-rc.1, Cordis ^4.0.2, and Node.js ^22.19 || >=24.

  • Keep file previews in one global right sidebar, browse multiple workspaces as separate file-tree roots, and restore each workspace's native tabs when switching.
  • With dsh-better-sidebar@0.19.0, open a shared bottom workbench below all conversation groups. Its workspace selector is independent of the right sidebar and active conversation; terminals survive workspace switches, collapse, fullscreen, and layout-mode changes.
  • Move panel controls to the outer tab bar, add bottom-panel resizing by pointer or keyboard, and retain controls in single-column mode.
  • Fix workspace connection races, including disabling and re-enabling a panel while a connection is pending. Keep development hot-reload connections in the outer page to avoid exhausting browser HTTP/1 connections.

Install or update:

dsh plugin --profile web add @ai-eks/dsh-docking-layout@latest

The npm latest tag now selects 0.1.5-rc.1. DSH 0.1.2 users should keep the previous compatible version:

dsh plugin --profile web add @ai-eks/dsh-docking-layout@0.1.2-rc.1 --save-exact

Validation on the release commit: frozen dependency install, 64 tests, TypeScript checks, production build, package export/content checks, and npm publish dry run. Post-publication checks confirm the npm latest tag, a fresh registry installation, and matching package integrity and installed artifacts. Prior browser verification with DSH 0.1.5-rc.1 and better-sidebar 0.19.0 covered multi-workspace file browsing, independent panel selection, retained terminal processes, resizing, fullscreen, and single-column mode. Model generation and narrow-screen visual layout were not tested.

Workspace panel state lasts until page reload; visiting more workspaces retains more native clients and uses more memory/connections. Refresh the page to apply embedded plugin changes during development.

Changes: #6.

Release commit: 759e536c3c35b46c79f36e4cc6546936c92682da.

The attached npm tarball was built from this merge commit and includes a SHA-256 checksum.

@ai-eks ai-eks released this 07 Sep 23:03

Adds support for DeepSeek Harness 0.1.2-rc.1 and fixes docking layout lifecycle issues. Requires DSH ^0.1.2-rc.1, Cordis ^4.0.2, and Node.js ^22.19 || >=24. Earlier DSH versions are not supported by this release.

  • Resolve defineStore through the current client-store package and align Session/Workspace controllers and peer dependencies.
  • Reuse or create the correct blank Session when closing the final tab. Correlate asynchronous results, preserve unrelated navigation, and allow retry after a failed start.
  • Hide docking panes in single-column mode while retaining mounted frames, groups, and drafts.
  • Preserve service and slot types in the published declarations.

For older DSH hosts (0.1.0-rc.8 or 0.1.1-rc.2), keep plugin 0.1.1-rc.2. The npm compatibility tag dsh-0.1.1 points to that version, and the Git tag v0.1.1-rc.2 identifies its release source. Pin the exact dependency to avoid ordinary updates selecting a newer compatibility line:

dsh plugin --profile web add @ai-eks/dsh-docking-layout@0.1.1-rc.2 --save-exact

Unversioned installs and @latest select the DSH 0.1.2-compatible release. Tags do not automatically select a version based on the host's DSH version.

Validation: 36 tests, TypeScript checks, production build, frozen strict peer install, and a packed-package consumer with the minimum supported DSH/Cordis peers. Local browser checks cover final-tab replacement, repeated blank-session closes, layout restoration, mode switching, and responsive groups.

Changes: #3 and #4.
