Changes

  • The agent finishes more tasks: when a step only says what it will do next, or writes a tool call as plain text, it is asked to carry on instead of stopping
  • praex run checks its work once at the end of a turn that changed files, against your original request
  • Auto mode asks before more destructive commands: commands inside bash -c, eval and $(...), find -delete, xargs rm -r, git push --delete, git branch -D, git checkout -- and git restore, shred, and rm of files outside the project
  • Manual mode: input redirects, >&file, tree -o and file-reading flags no longer run without asking
  • Fixed: praex could exit with an error in a folder without a .git
  • Fixed: a long session could lose its history when the summary came back empty

Or download a binary below, check it against SHA256SUMS (sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS), unpack it and put praex on your PATH. Installed copies update themselves with praex upgrade.
