Changes

  • Plan mode is on: press Tab to plan, Praex writes the plan to .praex/plans and asks before it starts building. Plan mode now holds in auto mode too.
  • Background subagents are on: Praex can start a research subagent in the background and keep working; the result comes back when it is done.
  • New /browser command: connect your own Chrome (with the Playwright Extension) or a separate browser window, so Praex can open pages, click and take screenshots.
  • Turning on LSP ("lsp": true) now also gives Praex the code navigation tool (go to definition, find references).

Install

curl -fsSL https://praex.ai/install.sh | bash

Or download a binary below, check it against SHA256SUMS (sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS), unpack it and put praex on your PATH. Installed copies update themselves with praex upgrade.
