A neumorphic rework of obsidian-border
NeuBorder is a rework of obsidian-border that prioritizes neumorphic design, legibility, and keeping away distractions.
- In Obsidian, navigate to
Settings/Appearance/Themes/Manage
- Search for "NeuBorder"
- Select the "NeuBorder" box
- Select the "Install and use" box
- Download the latest version of
NeuBorder.zip
from Releases - Extract
NeuBorder.zip
intovault/.obsidian/themes/
- In Obsidian, click the drop-down menu in
Settings/Appearance/Themes
, and select "NeuBorder"
- Make sure that lessc is installed
- Clone this repository
- Edit the variable 'VAULT' in
compile.sh
to the path of your Obsidian vault - Run
compile.sh
in a Linux or MacOS CLI - In Obsidian, click the drop-down menu in
Settings/Appearance/Themes
, and select "NeuBorder"
It's no secret that NeuBorder is full of holes
- The theme barely works on mobile
- It looks terrible in dark mode
- It doesn't look nearly as good as a properly implemented neumorphic design should look
- The thumbnail doesn't represent the look of the theme very well
If you want these things fixed, fix them yourself with a pull request, or beg sq1000000 to fix them in issues.
