🚀 Claude Code Starter Framework v3.0.0

⚠️ Breaking Changes

This is a MAJOR version release with fundamental architectural changes.

What Changed

Complete rewrite of protocol execution layer:

  • Before: Bash commands with terminal spam
  • After: Python utility with silent execution

New requirements:

  • Node.js (same as before)
  • Python 3.x (NEW! stdlib only, no external packages)

Why v3.0.0?
Per Semantic Versioning, this qualifies as MAJOR version increment due to:

  • Complete architectural rewrite (bash → Python)
  • New Python dependency requirement
  • Fundamental change in execution model

  • Protocols run silently in background
  • No more task notification spam
  • JSON output for AI, user sees only results

Requirements

Before installing, ensure you have:

  1. Node.js - Check with node --version (need v18+)

  2. Python 3.x - Check with python3 --version (need 3.9+)

New utility: src/framework-core/main.py

Architecture:

  • 931 lines of code
  • Zero external dependencies (stdlib only)
  • Parallel execution via ThreadPoolExecutor

  • framework.tar.gz (104K) - Complete framework archive

  • quick-update.sh (12K) - Quick updater for existing projects
