What's Changed
- Documentation: This can be found in docs. Any major changes should be accompanied with ADRs. The documentation also outlines how to extend the repository with different pieces of data.
- Improved Architecture: v0.2 introduces an architecture to emphasise the inputs and outputs of processing. See this ADR for more information.
- In-Depth Leaderboard Collection: This version introduces a new executable to collect leaderboard data for games that have a ridiculously high number of runs. More information and the logic behind this can be found in this ADR.
- Reduced V2 API Presence: The V2 API has changed since I last touched this repo and it doesn't look like speedrun.com will make this open to the public any time soon. I have kept the use of GetGameList to allow us to verify the total number of runs per game and enable us to investigate the discrepancies deeper.
- World Record Data: An experimental executable to collect historical world record data for all category/level/variable/value combinations for a game.
- Increased Amount of Game Data: The genres, publishers, developers, platforms, engines, and run timing data are now available when scraping game data.
