Highlights

  • Direct-login capture survives outages. Login events the agent cannot deliver are kept in a local outbox and sent once the connection is back (#540). The agent also reports whether login capture is active, alongside its system information (#542), and no longer sends the same session event twice for one PAM transaction (#544).
  • Path-only server URLs. The agent accepts server URLs given as a path and checks the host on every socket it opens (#536). File uploads accept path-only targets and send the agent key only to the configured server (#538).

Fixes and improvements

  • FTP: the ftp worker honors the configured TLS verification and CA (#537).
  • Tunnel: a smux frame goes out as one WebSocket frame, and reads are streamed (#526).
  • Runner: redials after a dropped connection are paced, and JSON writes are bounded (#534).
  • Package upgrades on yum 3 honor reposdir and skip failing mirrorlist repositories (#530).

Upgrade notes

  • The agent's local database gains one table for the login-event outbox. The change is additive and runs on upgrade; nothing to do.
