Limux v0.1.34 improves remote SSH workflows, session restoration, input handling, and Linux packaging.
Highlights
- Keep remote commands running in opt-in per-tab tmux sessions and reconnect restored SSH tabs. The remote host must have tmux installed. (#225)
- Paste clipboard images into persistent SSH terminals. (#245)
- Install an optional remote helper to relay Codex, Claude Code, and Gemini CLI completion notifications to Limux. Helper installation is an explicit action. (#247)
- Mark tabs and workspaces read or unread, choose the unread-indicator color, and protect pinned or renaming tabs from middle-click closing. (#238)
- Add GUI lifecycle hooks for workspace creation and deletion. (#244)
Fixes
- Restore agent tabs without changing the selected tab. (#237)
- Reduce idle Ghostty wakeups and redundant session-file writes. (#234)
- Preserve complete UTF-8 preedit text for input methods. (#248)
- Update Tokio to 1.53.3 for RUSTSEC-2026-0386. The advisory concerns upstream I/O safety. Limux has no direct calls to the affected AsyncFd constructors. (#251)
Packaging and validation
- Add a local Flatpak development build with host terminals. Flathub publication remains follow-up work. (#197)
- Repair source-package builds on current Arch Linux. Source AUR publication still requires package adoption tracked in #195. (#250)
- Add browser and Settings screenshots to visual smoke coverage. (#246)
The release provides x86_64 tarball, Debian, AppImage, and RPM packages. SHA256SUMS covers all four downloads.
