When I run the final command I get this error pretty soon after. Running locally :)
Here's my config

I'm still poking around but don't really know what might have caused this.

In the meanwhile: could you share how you launched the container and on which host OS? :)

I ran ./docker_run.sh "ghcr.io/amandasaurus/osm-mapping-party-before-after:main" ./out from a docker m1 pro macbook

Out of curiosity: could you build the image locally and then launch that one using the docker run script?

#11 was my first time using the GH container rep and the GH action to build an image through it. So I’m not 100% sure if something there might have messed things up!

This sounds like the carto submodule wasn’t initialised, see the comments in this PR where the same error happened: #5 (comment)

could you try it doing those steps before the build help? :)

Yep, the problem was that the GH action workflow didn't include the checking out of the submodule, this will be fixed in #16. You can already test it by running

./docker_run.sh "ghcr.io/gedankenstuecke/osm-mapping-party-before-after:main" ./out to test it out from my main-branch!
