Enso Next v0.11.4-next.1
Improved
- Active now groups your tabs under their folders, with sleeping tabs at the bottom.
- The sidebar's folders, rows and buttons line up more neatly.
Enso v0.11.3
New
- Find in the terminal. ⌘F searches the whole scrollback, ⌘E searches for what you've selected, and ⌘G jumps between matches. Suggested by @mikerockett.
- A fresh sidebar: switch between all your Folders and just the tabs that are Active, with a glassy new bar for your spaces.
- Open folders sit in their own little tray, so you can see what belongs where.
- Flip between agents or terminals that need your attention from the top right.
- A Performance Bar for the curious. Turn on Developer tools in Settings, then open it from ⌘P.
Improved
- Swiping between spaces is much smoother and arrives faster.
- Enso uses far less memory when you have lots of tabs open.
- Enso now runs on the latest Ghostty, bringing a pile of fixes and polish from the Ghostty team.
- App updates install more reliably on macOS 27.
Enso Next v0.11.3-next.6
New
- Open folders now sit in their own little tray, so you can see what belongs where.

- Sidebar text is a touch bolder and easier to read.
- Closed folders finally look closed.
- The bottom bar sits a little higher off the edge.
Enso Next v0.11.3-next.5

Enso Next v0.11.3-next.4
Improved
- Swiping between spaces is much smoother and arrives faster.
- Enso uses far less memory when you have lots of tabs open.
Enso Next v0.11.3-next.3
New
- A Performance Bar for the curious. Turn on Developer tools in Settings, then open it from ⌘P. It shows memory, CPU, freezes and how busy your tabs are, and can copy the details for a bug report.
Enso Next v0.11.3-next.2
Improved
- Enso now runs on the latest Ghostty, bringing a pile of fixes and polish from the Ghostty team.
- App updates install more reliably on macOS 27.
Enso Next v0.11.3-next.1
New
- Find in the terminal. ⌘F opens a find bar on the focused pane and searches the whole scrollback, highlighting matches as you type. Suggested by @mikerockett.
- Enter and ⇧Enter step through matches, Esc closes the bar and hands the keyboard back. Every pane in a split gets its own bar.
- ⌘E searches for the selected text, ⌘G and ⇧⌘G step between matches without leaving the terminal, and the search term follows the system find pasteboard, so a ⌘E in your editor and a ⌘F here just works.
Improved
- Credits and other free-standing lines in What's New no longer wear a bullet.
Enso v0.11.2
New
- You can now drag to re-arrange spaces
- Double clicking a split border resets the split screen to its original ratio
Both suggested by Mike Rockett (@mikerockett). Thanks, Mike!
Fixed
- Enso would expand all your folders on restart. Pretty silly. We told him not to do it.
- The sidebar now only opens when your pointer is on the left edge, not whenever it drifts nearby. Pointed out by @eznix86
- In full screen the sidebar icon would linger. Now it hides with the sidebar as nature intended.
- Pressing Esc to close the command bar in full screen no longer kicks you out of full screen. Thanks to @eznix86 for the report.
Thank you for using Enso as your terminal!
