@amlaban65 amlaban65 released this 01 Nov 15:57

First release.

ciblame reads a repository's GitHub Actions history and tells you how many minutes and dollars went to AI coding agents, bots and people.

What's in it

  • Attribution for GitHub Copilot (coding agent, code review, co-authored commits), Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, Devin, Jules, Amazon Q Developer, Aider, GitHub Agentic Workflows, Dependabot, Renovate and other bots
  • Billable minutes per job with GitHub's per-minute rounding, priced at 2026 list rates, including larger runners, self-hosted runners and --rate overrides
  • Minutes spent on pull requests that were closed without merging, and CI minutes per merged PR
  • Table, Markdown, JSON and CSV output, grouped by actor, kind, workflow or repo
  • ciblame why <run-url> to see exactly why a run was attributed the way it was
  • ciblame --demo to try it without a token
  • A GitHub Action that posts a weekly report to the job summary

Install

go install github.com/amlaban65/ciblame/cmd/ciblame@v0.1.0

Or download a binary for Linux, macOS or Windows from the assets below.

Known gaps

Some agent signatures are based on vendor docs rather than observed runs. If a run is attributed wrongly, please open an issue with the output of ciblame why <run-url>.
