• Proximity voice chat. Hosts can now choose the lobby's voice mode in the overlay: Off, Open or Proximity. In Proximity you hear the players near you (up to 150 m), from the side they are on, louder when close and with a touch of Doppler as cars pass.
• Team events. Team races now have real red and blue teams, and during a team event racers hear only their own team ("Team chat").
• Voice settings and players. Overlay settings are organized in categories (Connection, Voice Chat). Each player in the lobby has a big mute button beside their card; their volume is in the player's details.
• More reliable voice. Changing your audio devices mid-game no longer risks freezing the game, any microphone format works (including Bluetooth headsets), and with no microphone you can still listen: the overlay never sends your speakers' sound.
• Voice moderation. Mutes are reported to help keep lobbies friendly, and a player blocked from voice chat is told so.
• Connections. The server now decides how each lobby connects (the "Always connect through the relay" option is gone); if the relay can't be reached, you are connected directly to the host when possible.
• Fair play. Hardcore lobbies check impossible speeds per car and impossible parts.
• Mods. Mods that don't change gameplay (Spotify Radio, Extra Options - Garage Revving) no longer need to match in a lobby and are allowed in every mode.
• Levels. Save and Discord levels now show your real driver level.

• Voice chat (experimental). Talk to the players in your lobby straight from the overlay: echo cancellation and noise suppression are built in, push-to-talk or open mic, a mute for each player, and the game's own player list and HUD show who is talking. Pick your microphone and output device in Settings, and set the voice chat volume, your microphone volume and each player's volume (1-100). With no microphone you can still listen. Voice chat is experimental while we validate it across more players: tell us how it sounds.
• Online Road Trip with your lobby. Online Road Trip now runs inside your lobby: vote, choose your car, drive and race the destination's events together.
• Follow the host. When the host switches between Online Free Roam and Online Road Trip, everyone in the lobby is told and the game starts looking for the host's session by itself; press (X) to join.
• Infected and King. Free-roam tag events now play as they should: the infection spreads and the crown changes hands.
• No more endless "Finding session". If there is nothing to connect to within 15 seconds, the search is cancelled and you can try again.
• Players who join later now see everyone's name and the full player list; mode switches inside one lobby keep you in it; joining from the lobby list tells you which mode the host is in.

• Sharing liveries works. Large designs no longer fail with "error communicating with the Forza Horizon 2 server": the game sent an extra copy of the paint that went over its own size limit, and Infinity now leaves it out. Previews over 190 KB are scaled down to fit, and a design whose preview the game cannot read is shared without one.
• Your livery on Discord. When you have shared a livery for the car you are driving, your Discord card shows it as its large image. Turn it off with "Show my livery" in Settings → Discord.
• Lobbies open to Hardcore and Noob. When you create a lobby, choose "Open to Hardcore and Noob" to let both modes in; such lobbies carry a Hardcore + Noob badge. The default stays your own mode only.
• Older designs saved before October 27 were never uploaded: open and save them again in the paint shop before sharing.

• Infinity on your Discord profile. While Infinity runs, your Discord status shows your profile (mode, club tag, name, level), credits, your current car and what you are doing: in a lobby (with the party size), in free roam, in the menus or in the launcher. Turn it off, or hide any part of it, in Settings → Discord.
• Join a friend's lobby from Discord. A "Join lobby" button appears on the card of a player in a public, Supporter or friends lobby with a free seat (never a private one). Links open Infinity, or paste one in "Join from link" (the way on Steam Deck). You still press Join, and the usual rules apply: a lobby of the other mode offers switching to your profile of that mode.
• If you use Bullet4fun's Discord RPC mod, the launcher tells you once that it now duplicates the built-in presence.
