• Voice chat (experimental). Talk to the players in your lobby straight from the overlay: echo cancellation and noise suppression are built in, push-to-talk or open mic, a mute for each player, and the game's own player list and HUD show who is talking. Pick your microphone and output device in Settings, and set the voice chat volume, your microphone volume and each player's volume (1-100). With no microphone you can still listen. Voice chat is experimental while we validate it across more players: tell us how it sounds.
• Online Road Trip with your lobby. Online Road Trip now runs inside your lobby: vote, choose your car, drive and race the destination's events together.
• Follow the host. When the host switches between Online Free Roam and Online Road Trip, everyone in the lobby is told and the game starts looking for the host's session by itself; press (X) to join.
• Infected and King. Free-roam tag events now play as they should: the infection spreads and the crown changes hands.
• No more endless "Finding session". If there is nothing to connect to within 15 seconds, the search is cancelled and you can try again.
• Players who join later now see everyone's name and the full player list; mode switches inside one lobby keep you in it; joining from the lobby list tells you which mode the host is in.

The hook is 0.3.0+fh2online.114: reinstall it when the launcher asks. Windows installations can use the launcher updater or extract the Windows x64 ZIP into a separate launcher folder. On Linux/Steam Deck, the launcher updater applies this release; if it cannot, rerun the Linux/Steam Deck installer.
