Repro steps
Following the Universal tutorial
on https://angular.io/guide/universal for my app, and it runs ng add @nguniversal/express-engine --clientProject angular.io-example
, running the same for my angular 7 app results in the following main.ts
:
document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', () => {
import { enableProdMode } from '@angular/core';
import { platformBrowserDynamic } from '@angular/platform-browser-dynamic';
import { AppModule } from './app/app.module';
import { environment } from './environments/environment';
import { hmrBootstrap } from './hmr';
if (environment.production) {
enableProdMode();
}
const bootstrap = () => platformBrowserDynamic().bootstrapModule(AppModule);
if (environment.hmr) {
if ((<any>module)['hot']) {
hmrBootstrap(module, bootstrap);
} else {
console.error('HMR is not enabled for webpack-dev-server!');
console.log('Are you using the --hmr flag for ng serve?');
}
} else {
bootstrap().catch(err => console.log(err));
}
});
However I'm getting ts errors due to ts not being happy with the import
statements not being the first thing in the file.
