Hi , i have recently upgraded to angular5 and since then my protractor tests are failing with :

Error: Timeout - Async callback was not invoked within timeout specified by jasmine.DEFAULT_TIMEOUT_INTERVAL.

Error: Timeout - Async callback was not invoked within timeout specified by jasmine.DEFAULT_TIMEOUT_INTERVAL.

These tests were working before upgrading.
Highly appreciate any suggestions.

This seems like a bug but we'll need to look at a reproduction to find and fix the problem. Can you setup a minimal repro please?

You can read here why this is needed. A good way to make a minimal repro is to create a new app via ng new repro-app and adding the minimum possible code to show the problem. Then you can push this repository to github and link it here.

@filipesilva , thank you for the response. After a lot of analysis , it was discovered that , chrome 64 is the culprit. The tests are working fine when i downgraded to chrome 63(On the same branch on which the tests are failing with chrome 64).
