v4.0.0 — open-core engine (previous stable)

Previous stable. Current release: v5.1.0.

The open-core v4 engine: 32 MCP tools, the 5-phase gated pipeline (SETUP → DISCOVER → GENERATE → HANDOFF → EXECUTE), evidence-gated execution with the deterministic SHIP_CHECK_OK ship gate, fleet waves, token economy with local cost telemetry, and the dual-backend abstraction (TaskMaster optional).

This tag includes two hygiene fixes backported from the 5.1.0 line so rollback actually works on machines other than the maintainer's: skill paths resolve from the packaged skel/ (${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}), and Python bytecode is excluded from packaging. Plugin namespace at this version is prd-taskmaster (commands /prd-taskmaster:go or /atlas).

v4.0.0 was never published to npm — install pinned from this tag:
