Discussion:

• Postmortem on 0.9.2 release

  • j00bar pointed out, that so far, we've seen very few issues
  • The Python 3 issues seems to be resolved
  • We've had over 400 pulls of the centos:7 conductor

• 0.9.3 roadmap review:

  • chouseknecht started an ansible/hello-world example project based on j00bar's Fest demo
    • j00bar will review and provide updates to make it more like the actual demo
  • No updates on pre-baked image scans and container catalog. J00bar may have some new info later today, after meetings with OpenShift team
  • No updates on daily pre-bake, scanning, pushing of images in Travis

• PR #719

  • Author has made some changes, and the PR needs to be reviewed
  • J00bar volunteered to review

• "Advanced Techniques" section in the docs

  • This was talked about on 11 Sep, but we're not tracking it on an issue
  • chouseknecht volunteered to add an issue

• Update on K8s modules from fabianvf:

  • There are issues getting the modules to generate with recent 3.6 API changes
  • The names in the swagger.json all changed with 3.6, and they changed the whole generation procedure with 1.6
  • Currently working on bringing us to the point where we can use at least 90% of the same generation procedure
  • It's slow, but hoping to have something significant running this week
  • Also adding build stages to Travis, with a deploy step that will automatically do a pypi release when a release is tagged

• Ansible Docker modules

  • chouseknecht brought up the idea of getting contributors and maintainers to participate in the group
  • j00bar agreed that we should reach out to them
  • chouseknecht volunteered to make an effort this week to reach out to all of them, and invite them to participate in the weekly meeting

• Discussion of creating an Ansible Container project for orchestrating AWX

  • The major missing feature is config map
  • j00bar suggested: Maybe we can get Laska to anoint one of the Tower devs to the task of dogfooding and patching where we're weak
