AnyPlay Launcher 0.3.6
AnyPlay Launcher 0.3.6
Console Mode, a more colourful Daylight, and online screens that say what is going on.
Console Mode
- Settings > General > Console Mode turns your PC into a console home: AnyPlay opens when you sign in to your computer, always fills the screen and starts ready for the controller.
- Return to Desktop sits right under it while Console Mode is on and closes the launcher, so your desktop is there as before.
- Start with Windows (on Linux and macOS: Start at Login) opens AnyPlay when you sign in, without the rest of Console Mode. It is off until you turn it on.
- Open in Full Screen now has its own row and applies right away.
Daylight, with more colour
- Daylight is now a coloured morning sky: deep blue at the top, lilac across the middle and apricot at the horizon, with a golden sun, rose clouds and coloured lights drifting up.
- Panels let more of the sky through, so the look is less pale.
- Trophy grades and the focus ring are easier to see on Daylight.
Online screens
- A friend request from someone you haven't played with shows Accept again.
- Sign In and Create Account open the Cloud page when no cloud is set, instead of doing nothing.
- Errors without their own message are shown in your language, and the details go to the log.
- Friends and Played With Recently say when you are offline or still connecting, with Try Again, instead of "No friends yet" or loading forever.
- Screen readers announce new notifications as new and name each notification's buttons.
- The party's voice mark and the "more below" fade are readable on Daylight.
Online play with the AnyPlay Engine
- The online service and the game now prove their connection to each other with a challenge, so the game's sign-in never travels in the clear.
- If you use the AnyPlay Engine channel, update the engine too when the launcher offers it. Older engine builds can't connect to this version.
