[2.0.26.1] - 2026-09-29

This release builds on 2.0.26 with fixes and features we believe needed to be delivered promptly.

Added

Redis

  • [587], [593] - support TLS connections with CA and hostname verification for command connections, PSYNC replication streams, and automatically discovered Redis Cluster nodes
  • [564] - support RDB stream type 26 (RDB_TYPE_STREAM_LISTPACKS_4), including parsing the trailing IDMP section; IDMP deduplication state is not migrated

MongoDB

  • [593] - support explicit TLS configuration for task and checkpoint connections, with integration coverage for replica sets and sharded clusters; verify_ca and verify_full both verify the certificate chain and hostname/IP with the current driver backend

Changed

General and Platform

  • [588] - add source schema/table fields and routed target locations to structure-check logs and table summaries while preserving the existing string keys
  • [588] - ignore standalone structure objects that exist only on the target; target-only child objects under source-selected tables, such as indexes, remain differences
  • [568], [588] - extend check_log_max_rows limits to non-CDC diff.log and miss.log output

Fixed

General and Platform

  • [606] - avoid false data-check differences when integer values are equal but their widths or signedness differ
  • [568] - report missing target objects as missing results in snapshot and structure checks instead of aborting on missing target metadata; CDC checks retain error propagation
  • [575] - preserve the is_origin marker when merging relational UPDATE events
  • [572] - enable TCP keepalive for MySQL and PostgreSQL SQLx connections, including shared connection pools and DDL sinker connections

MySQL

  • [598] - fix incorrect quoting of CURRENT_TIMESTAMP(n) defaults on DATETIME(n) and TIMESTAMP(n) columns during structure migration

Redis

  • [564] - fail on unsupported RDB type bytes instead of continuing with a desynchronized parser and silently producing partial data
  • [603] - return descriptive errors instead of panicking when Redis Cluster slot-to-node or node-to-sinker mappings are missing
