What's new since 0.2.0: the first of the Sixth Sense
- A next step for what you copy (opt-in, Settings › Suggestions). Copy a link, a color, JSON, an
address, a date, an email address or phone number, a path or a long passage, and the notch offers the
obvious next step, once: Copy Clean Link, a swatch with RGB, hex and HSL, Copy Formatted, Open in Maps,
Remind Me and more. Rules on your Mac decide: no AI service, no network, and nothing you copied is kept.
Password managers, apps you exclude and text that looks like a key are skipped. Why? gives the
reason, and copies come with Undo. - Finished downloads offer their next step too: Extract an archive (the archive is kept), or Extract
Text and the other actions for a PDF, image, video or audio file. - It learns, on this Mac. Each dismissal makes that kind wait longer, and five in a row turn it off.
Choose Fewer, Balanced or More, switch kinds off, and set quiet hours. - Work modes. The notch notices what you're doing (Developer, Meeting, Creative, Media, or Study when
you choose it), and its shortcuts, ranking and suggestions follow. One click pins a mode; Settings › Work
mode turns it off. - Focus sessions that stay focused. While a focus timer runs, only requests and failures come through.
When it ends, the notch says what waited, with Review. - Action Chains. Several steps in one go: Web-Ready Images, Compress into a ZIP, Document Bundle and
Pages as Images. Progress shows as a task, and the files made along the way are cleaned up. - Next Action, QR Code and Create ZIP. When an action makes files, the result offers the usual next
step. New actions make a QR code for a link and a ZIP of what you dropped. - Agent Rescue. A failed CI run, build, deploy or agent turn offers Handoff: an editable brief with
the repository, branch, run link and summary, copied for your agent. Nothing is sent anywhere. - ⌘K searches the shelf and the clipboard.
- Settings › What NotchFlow observes says, for every capability, what it reads, why, what leaves your
Mac, the permission, and how to turn it off. Diagnostics › Context Inspector shows what each
suggestion was based on, without any content. - Reliability. Suggestions, screenshots, sound and alerts now take turns through one coordinator: a
screenshot or sound change waits behind a suggestion or under the pointer instead of replacing it or
being dropped, while requests and failures still come first. This also fixes an alert that could get
stuck after collapsing the notch.
Known limitations
Developer preview, tested on one MacBook Air. External displays, Stage Manager and a full VoiceOver pass
still need work, and the Metal "Ultra" glass mode is experimental. Details are in the
README.

What's new since 0.1.0
- Drop anything on the notch. Drag files, images, links or text toward the top of the screen and the notch
opens a well to keep them on the shelf. Originals are referenced, never moved. A one-time tip shows the way. - Notch Actions. A drop comes with its next step: Merge PDFs, Extract Text, Remove Background, convert,
resize, compress, Annotate and more. Everything runs on your Mac, says what it will do, and can be undone. - Screenshots, ready to use (opt-in, Settings › Screenshots). New screenshots rise out of the notch with
Copy, Extract Text, Annotate (arrows, boxes, highlights, text, blur, redaction) and Save to Shelf. - Agent Heartbeat and Mission Complete. A small mark at rest shows what your agents are doing, and real
finished work (long agent turns, CI, builds, big downloads) gets a quiet celebration with one next step. - Living Split Island. Music or a timer beside an agent: pin the side you care about, swipe to switch, and
each side says why it's there. - Time Travel. Hold ⌥ and scroll on the notch, or press ⌘Y, to step back through recent runs, downloads,
shelf items and screenshots. - Sound Island. AirPods connecting or the output changing shows the device, volume and a quick output
switch. - Reliability. Harder agent permission responses, media controls that only update after the player
confirms, a memory-bounded Quick Look thumbnail cache, Calm motion, and status kept beside the camera when
one side is empty.
