AVault 2.0.1 refreshes the Android interface and the project’s product website.

  • Redesigned recording library with clearer hierarchy, service status, search and filters.
  • Settings grouped into Recording, Privacy, Storage, Appearance and Advanced.
  • Improved dark/light contrast and larger playback/menu touch targets.
  • Bookmarks available independently of automatic retention.
  • Removed automatic fake recordings and the imposed default PIN from ordinary debug builds; restored the setup checklist and debug screen privacy.
  • Expanded README, updated product photography, accurate security documentation, and research/consent/warranty/liability notices.
  • Preserved the root MIT license and GPL source notices, included the referenced GPL text, and documented the need to clarify repository-wide licensing.
  • Product website available in English, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, Hindi, Arabic, French, German, Spanish and Italian, with live GitHub stars and multilingual search metadata.

Download: AVault-v2.0.1-debug.apk is a debug-signed development build, consistent with the project’s previous download. It was built and installed on a Samsung Galaxy A26 running Android 16 (API 36). UI checks covered PIN unlock, search, Saved filtering, settings navigation and light/dark appearance. Live-call audio capture was not tested in this refresh.

To update, install over the existing app with the same signing key. If Android reports a signing mismatch, keep your existing installation and recordings; uninstalling removes its app data and Keystore keys. Complete the in-app setup and Shizuku authorisation on your device as needed.
