v0.8.2
Changed
- Opening the app address now takes you straight to sign-in.
app.pocketcircle.appused to greet anyone not signed in with a short product page, left over from before the homepage moved to the plain address. That page is gone, so a signed-out visit lands on the sign-in form — which is what every other address in the app already did. Nothing about your account changes. Sign in once with Google and you land exactly where you were, and the homepage is still atpocketcircle.appif you were looking for that.
v0.8.0
Changed
-
The app moved to
app.pocketcircle.app, andpocketcircle.appis now the PocketCircle homepage. Everything public — the homepage, Privacy, Terms, Support, What's New — is on the plain address now, and the signed-in app lives onapp.. Your Circles, Transactions, and history are all exactly where you left them; nothing moved but the address bar.You will be signed out once, everywhere. The app and the homepage are now different addresses, and a signed-in session cannot be carried across that boundary by a browser — it is kept per address, and no browser setting changes that. Re-auth is one tap of Continue with Google, and nothing is lost: your Circles, Transactions, and history are untouched. If you use an AI assistant, it will need reconnecting once, and you will be asked to approve your Circles again.
Every link you have saved keeps working. A Circle link, a shared Transaction link, or an Invitation or Account Deletion email that points at the old address takes you straight to the right place on the new one — you may see it change address in your browser first.
-
If you had PocketCircle installed as an app, install it again from the new address. An installed app remembers the address it was installed from, and browsers give a site no way to move an existing installation to a different one. So the old icon on your home screen will now open the PocketCircle homepage, with a Sign in link into the app. Open
https://app.pocketcircle.apponce and use your browser's Add to Home Screen to get the app back where it was, then you can delete the old icon. Nothing about your Circles, Transactions, or history changes — it is the same app, and the same sign-in.
v0.7.0

- My Transactions — find Transactions paid by you across Circles with search and filters, without opening each Circle.
- Notifications now cover Circle invitations (including before they expire), and Settings can enable Push so Notification Center updates can appear on your devices.
Changed
- On large screens, the app uses a left sidebar for Circles, destinations, and account instead of the top header and Circle tabs.
- Connected AI assistants advertise clearer read and write safety hints, including when creating a Transaction locks a Circle's Currency.
Fixed
- Phone Safari no longer zooms the page when focusing form fields.
- Large money amounts no longer push mobile layouts sideways or break the bottom navigation.

and scopes, and that PocketCircle is run by an individual maintainer. - Connected AI assistants show money in major units with the Currency code,

filters, and to confirm updates to existing Transactions and Categories
before writing.
