What's Changed

New

  • hinge screenshot <path> captures the display that hosts the UI: the cover when folded, the inner display when unfolded. It waits up to 2 s for the backlight to come on. Plain simctl io … screenshot fails with Invalid argument on a foldable.
  • --json (-j) for get, posture, orientation and screenshot. posture --json includes activeDisplay and per-display size, scale, rotation and backlight.
  • HINGE_DEVICE sets the default simulator.

Changed

  • Without -d, hinge uses the only booted iPhone Duo, so other booted simulators don't get in the way. With several iPhone Duos booted, it lists them and exits instead of guessing. With no iPhone Duo booted, it falls back to the only booted simulator.
  • posture decides the active display by the active flag first and falls back to the backlight state.
  • The skill mentions HINGE_DEVICE and warns that an older hinge on PATH lacks screenshot and --json.

Docs

  • README reworked around the agent skill, with a looping demo, a "Why" table comparing Xcode's tools, CI instructions and OpenSkills installation.
