Perch 0.5.2
Grok Bot, Muse, Oh My Pi and Dots
- Grok Bot: each bot is a row wearing its own avatar, and you answer its questions and reply from the notch
- Muse Code in any terminal: its sessions are listed with live status, and you can reply and pick up from the notch
- Oh My Pi works like pi, and Perch answers its questions from the notch
- Dots (ChatGPT Pro, beta): each dot is a row, and Pick up opens it
- Settings and setup group your agents by kind, and you can switch off a terminal like tmux to hide its sessions
- Several Oh My Pi or Muse sessions in one folder each go back to the right pane
- Click the character for a different reaction each time
Perch 0.5.1
Cloud sessions, OpenCode 2 and a filter for the list
- Claude Code and Cursor cloud sessions are listed beside your local ones
- Type to filter the list: move through what you typed with the arrow keys, select it, copy it
- OpenCode 2 works: its sessions are listed, and Perch answers its permissions and questions (thanks @yoavmmn)
- Preview: Space shows the agent's whole last message on the card (thanks @stolery)
- Replying to Codex in a terminal sends, instead of sitting in its field (thanks @stolery)
- Opening a reply no longer brings Perch forward (thanks @namearth5005)
Perch 0.5.0
Pull requests, Cursor and agterm
- Sessions show their pull requests: green open, purple merged, red closed, orange when one needs you. Hover for details, click to open
- Turn on Checks and a pull request with failing checks, asked-for changes or a conflict puts its session under Needs you
- Cursor chats show up beside your other sessions (beta): Pick up the exact chat, reply, and answer Allow or Deny from the notch
- Works with agterm like cmux: Pick up goes to the exact session and pane, and replies are typed into it (thanks @jeniasaigak)
Perch 0.4.8
Claude tasks and chats in Perch
- Your Claude app tasks show up beside your coding sessions: working, waiting for your OK, or finished, with what Claude found
- Turn on Claude chats in Settings to see Claude's last reply, and answer from the notch
- Choosing your apps uses simple checks, with Claude as one tile for Code, Tasks and Chats
- Press R right after sending and the reply opens on your message, with the step the agent is on below it
- A reply to a terminal session goes only into its own tab. When Perch isn't sure which tab, it copies the reply instead
- Warp sessions open on their own tab at once, with no tab flicking (thanks @stolery)
Perch 0.4.7
New sessions start in your project
- Starting a Claude app session from the notch puts it in the project you chose, and the notch says Started
- An OpenCode request stays up when OpenCode runs another tool beside it
- A terminal session killed while it waited for your OK no longer keeps the notch orange
- The live activity shows the command itself, like npm run build
- Working sessions keep their places in the list
Perch 0.4.6
Perch runs on macOS 15
- Perch now runs on macOS 15 (Sequoia) and later, not only macOS 26
- Everything works the same on both: the notch, the list, replies, hooks and updates
Perch 0.4.5
Send feedback from the notch
- Settings has a Send feedback page: your words, files, an optional email, and Return sends
- Drop, paste or attach files (Command+O), pictures shrink to fit, and Email it instead is there if it can't send
- Settings is a short list of categories, and each row says what it is set to
- The Version row shows your update right on the list
- The Claude app's side chats no longer show up in the list
Perch 0.4.4
See your reply land
- A reply sent from the notch ends on a Sent line, so you know it went
- The shortcut that opens Perch opens the question the notch is showing
- New sessions started in the Claude app send again, also right after you trust the folder
- Cancel Claude's trust question and the notch says Didn't start at once, your words kept
- What's new keeps its place as you scroll, and scrolling lists no longer jitter
Perch 0.4.3
Answer a question in your own words
- When an agent asks you to choose, Other lets you type your own answer right on the card
- Perch looks for updates every hour and says so with a quick peek in the notch; nothing installs until you press Update
- A question's choices light one at a time under the pointer, and each choice's note shows in full
- On the notch, Command+Option+O opens the session in its app, and clicking the question opens it on the card
- An OpenCode answer with a comma in it stays one answer
Perch 0.4.2
Pick up goes straight to your agent in tmux and Warp
- An agent in a tmux pane opens in your tmux client, and a reply goes straight into its pane
- Claude Code installed with npm is found running, so Pick up in Warp goes to its tab instead of starting a second copy
- A session waiting on helpers or a command it left in the background stays at work until they report back
- A helper's own steps no longer clear the question the session is asking you
- A checkout with thousands of changes no longer leaves the list on "Looking for your sessions"
- A quick hello in a terminal stays in the list while its agent is open
