Asqueel 0.6.3
Remove upper version bounds on internal tools: Builders, Bag and Migration. New installations can use the latest published versions, including Builders 0.30.0.
The complete CI matrix now resolves current ecosystem dependencies instead of hiding incompatibilities behind pinned versions. PostgreSQL/SQLite migration coverage and all existing test profiles are retained.
Validation includes Python 3.11–3.13, Routes, ASGI, standalone core, documentation and PostgreSQL migrations. No runtime API changes.
Asqueel 0.6.2
Fix explicit sysfield defaults being overwritten by unrelated declarations (#44, #45).
- Preserve
indexed=Falseon system timestamps independently of subsequent columns. - Keep omitted defaults eligible for system-field expansion.
- Keep model resolution and migration indexes consistent without modifying the source recipe.
Install:
pip install -U 'asqueel[migration]==0.6.2'The runtime fix passed 5383 tests, including PostgreSQL integration, and the complete Python CI matrix. Package artifacts are checked separately before upload.
Asqueel 0.6.1
- Execute standalone
auto_counterandrelative_indexoptions, column
defaults andread_only/unmodifiablechecks in the ordinary write cycle. - Maintain hierarchies with custom parent/counter fields and linked master
roots; serialize structural changes, reject cycles and refresh paths after
before-hooks. Preserve cascade rollback and skip descendants already deleted. - Apply physical
partition_<field>scopes to insert/update/delete, including
direct SQL APIs, with an explicitignore_partition=Truebypass. - Introspect SQLite generated columns (including in-memory databases), keep
generated values out of ordinary UPDATE assignments, and refuse migration
plans that would silently ignore changed generated expressions.
Install with migration support:
python -m pip install 'asqueel[migration,postgresql]==0.6.1'Uses the published asqueel-migration>=0.3.1,<0.4. Hierarchical depth remains unsupported; generated-expression changes require an explicit migration.
Asqueel 0.5.2
Asqueel 0.5.2 supports the published asqueel-migration 0.2 series used by Asqueel DB Manager.
- Widen the optional migration dependency to >=0.1.2,<0.3 while preserving direct Python migration APIs.
- Pin migration engine 0.2.0 from PyPI in development and CI instead of a temporary Git revision.
- Document compatibility with isolated migration input snapshots. Kajenn and DB Manager remain unnecessary for direct Asqueel migrations.
Validation: 868 tests passed / 1 skipped, including PostgreSQL and SQLite, with the published engine 0.2.0 installed in a fresh environment. CI, package contents and clean dependency checks passed.
Coordinated with asqueel-migration 0.2.0 and asqueel-dbmanager 0.1.0. See PR #10.
