Tidybo 0.1
🤖 Tidybo
A tiny robot that tidies your Mac desktop.
Select some files, click the robot above the Dock, and watch a little robot vacuum
slide out of the camera notch, drive over each file and suck it into a folder.
Warning
Tidybo really moves your files. Selected desktop items are moved into a new Tidybo Folder N on your desktop. Nothing is ever deleted or overwritten. Changed your mind? Just drag the files back out of the folder.
📦 Install
- Download Tidybo-0.1.zip below and double-click it to unzip.
- Drag Tidybo.app into your Applications folder.
- Open it. macOS will say it can't verify the developer, because Tidybo isn't notarized by Apple. To allow it once, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, click Open Anyway next to Tidybo, and confirm.
- Allow Accessibility access so Tidybo can see where your desktop icons are. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, turn on Tidybo, then open Tidybo again.
Tip
Tidybo appears in the Dock like any app. A thin capsule also shows up just above the Dock. Hover over it to meet the robot.
🧹 How to use
- Select files on your desktop.
- Hover over the capsule above the Dock. The robot says "N files selected, click me to tidy up".
- Click it and enjoy the show.
