Pinball NS — Vita Edition 1.1
Pinball NS — Vita Edition 1.1
What's new
- Portrait mode looks finished: the black strips beside the table are gone. The sides now carry the table's frame and rivets, and the control panel runs the full width of the screen, on Red, Blue, Gold and Silver.
Install
Install PinballNS.vpk with VitaShell; it updates 1.0 in place, and your saves and settings stay. You still need your own Pokémon Pinball ROM (US, .gbc) in ux0:data/PinballNS/. No ROM is included.

Pinball NS — Vita Edition 1.0
Pokémon Pinball on the PS Vita and PS TV, with the whole table on one screen and no loading between its halves. It is a port of Pinball NS by Reinhard Sharapov.

- Install
PinballNS.vpkwith VitaShell. You need HENkaku / Ensō. - Copy your ROM to
ux0:data/PinballNS/: Pokémon Pinball, the US version (.gbc), dumped from your own cartridge. Pokémon Pinball Generations 1.6 (the patched ROM) works too. No ROM is included. - Start it, then pick the game and how to hold the Vita.
What's in it
- Landscape: L / R are the flippers and CROSS launches.
- Portrait: the phone-style screen with big touch flippers.
- SELECT opens the menu in either orientation: orientation, save / load, sound, motion tilt, colours, switching games, and ASK AT START.
- Start screens: pick the game (when both ROMs are there) and the orientation, or skip them.
- Shake to tilt. Rumble on PS TV with a DualShock 3 or 4.
- The Game Boy CPU core is written in ARM assembly for the Vita, so the game runs at full speed.
- Generations: press down on FIELD SELECT for the Gold and Silver tables.
Notes
- PS TV rumble hasn't been tested on hardware. Please report any issues.
- No Nintendo or Pokémon images are included.
