StudyFlow is an independently reverse-engineered recreation of Quizlet’s visible interface and core study workflows, rebuilt as a desktop app for macOS and Windows.

The reconstruction follows direct observation of Quizlet's live Home feed, library, study-set overview, Flashcards, Learn and Test setup, and card editor. Code, branding, artwork and sample study content are independently created. StudyFlow is not affiliated with or endorsed by Quizlet; complete feature or pixel parity is not claimed.

Included

  • Flashcards, Learn, Test, Match, Write and spaced review.
  • Card/set editing, images, imports/exports, folders, search and progress tracking.
  • Email/password accounts and private Supabase cloud libraries.
  • No advertisements or reserved ad slots. MIT-licensed source.

Downloads

  • Mac, Apple silicon: .dmg installer or .zip application.
  • Windows x64: .exe setup installer or portable .zip.
  • SHA256SUMS.txt contains archive and installer checksums.

Preview limitations

These installers are unsigned; the Mac app is not notarized. Windows artifacts were cross-built on macOS and have not been executed on Windows. The packaged Mac login/sandbox test passed. The project has 52 distinct automated tests; live user signup and email delivery still require acceptance testing.

Public signup and password-recovery emails require an SMTP provider, which is not configured in the current preview backend. The default Supabase mailer is limited to project-team addresses. Configure your own backend using the online setup guide.

AI flashcard generation is not included. No paid AI integration is enabled.

See the README and implementation report for scope, verification and remaining differences from Quizlet.
