NanoArcade v2.0.2

Artwork download hotfix restoring Find Art → Save for Libretro results.

Fixed

  • Libretro artwork search now reads listings from the official libretro-thumbnails GitHub repositories.
  • Selected artwork and auto-scrape fallbacks use CORS-enabled official raw GitHub files.
  • CORS-capable GitHub sources download directly instead of being routed through failing public proxies.
  • Raw GitHub URLs remain restricted to the official libretro-thumbnails organization and Named_Boxarts paths.
  • The service-worker cache was bumped so installed users receive the fix.

Root cause

The Libretro artwork server returned the requested image successfully, but all configured public CORS proxies returned 403, timed out, or returned 520. The browser therefore could not read, resize, and save the selected image.

Validation

Tested end to end in Chrome with Kirby's Dream Land 2 - DX (USA).png: search, direct download, image decode, resize, filesystem write, metadata update, and the Saved! UI state all passed without a proxy request.

The v2.0.1 security protections remain enabled.
