TaskMan v0.1.20 fixes missing application icons on the App History ("App-Verlauf") page, ensuring all applications display their real executable icons matching the Processes, Details, Startup, and Users tabs.

App History Icons

  • Real Application Icons in App History: The App History tab was previously the only table in TaskMan drawing the generic placeholder window icon instead of loading real process icons. The table now queries the background icon cache using each entry's recorded executable path, live process identity, or absolute key path.
  • Persistent Icon Path Metadata: The local app-history.json database now records and preserves each application's executable path across runs, automatically seeding paths for existing entries.

Verifying a download

Each archive and installer ships a .sha256 checksum file beside it:

sha256sum -c taskman-v0.1.20-windows-x86_64-setup.exe.sha256
