Autohand v0.9.10

@igorcosta igorcosta released this 03 Nov 21:47

Autohand Code Desktop 0.9.10

  • macOS release publication now requires Apple signing and notarization credentials before native builds start. The earlier unsigned macOS release exception is no longer accepted.
  • macOS distribution must pass Developer ID team verification, Gatekeeper assessment, and stapled-ticket validation for both the application and its DMG. The updater ZIP is verified after extraction.
  • Desktop, server, web, and shared contracts use public version 0.9.10.
  • Update progress and diagnostic text follow the font size selected in Settings.

Each native artifact's provenance report records its verified signing status and source commit. After updater feeds are merged, CI verifies the payloads are unchanged and records hashes for the final published metadata. Mac App Store submission remains a separate distribution path with its own sandbox, provisioning, and App Review requirements.

Updates that explain what to do

  • Ad-hoc signed macOS and unsigned Windows builds now detect new releases and offer Download update directly. They no longer download an update in the background or attempt an automatic installation that requires a release signing identity.
  • Release-signed builds retain the existing automatic installation path and signature checks.
  • If 0.0.14 or 0.0.15 reports that an update did not satisfy its code requirement, download the new installer manually. On macOS, quit Autohand Desktop and replace the app in Applications. Projects, conversations and settings are stored separately from the app.

Workspaces and agents

  • Hubs bring coordinators, linked workers, goals and work queues together, with a Library for shared documents. Existing Spaces, Kanban, Studio and workflows remain available.
  • Subagent navigation, restored split panels, workspace search, file previews and diff preferences are integrated into the desktop experience.
  • Provider lifecycle, named-account isolation, reconnect handling and first-message delivery include the latest reliability fixes. OpenCode's newer SDK loads only when needed.

Workflows

  • Author and arrange workflow steps and connections on a zoomable graph, with a minimap, live run status and a details pane.
  • Configure providers per step, review human checkpoints, and retry failed steps while preserving earlier results.
  • Independent branches can run concurrently. Recovery coverage includes cancellation, rejection and restarting the desktop application.

Fixes

  • Provider usage now imports the declared Autohand contracts package. A clean-install guard rejects retired workspace imports, including type-only imports that stale local dependency links could mask.
  • Clean dependency installs no longer apply the transcript list patch at incorrect line offsets, which prevented development startup with duplicate declarations.
  • Missing or inaccessible project folders now produce a useful workspace error instead of a misleading failure to start the Autohand CLI. The application does not silently switch to a different folder.
  • Transcript following, browser lifecycle and background work retain the existing performance safeguards.

Downloads and signing

Installers are published to both the private source repository and the public download repository. No npm package is published.

macOS builds are ad-hoc signed and are not Apple notarized. Windows installers are unsigned. These builds require manual installation of updates until release signing is configured. Artifact provenance records their actual signing status.

Autohand Desktop 0.0.15

Fixes

  • Handing a cloud conversation to Codex or another local provider now switches execution to the local project folder. Both same-thread and new-thread handoffs preserve conversation context without retaining the cloud execution target. Cloud filesystem changes are not synchronized by this action.

Announcements

  • Desktop feature announcements replace the standalone project-import promotion. Project import remains available from the sidebar.
  • Signed-in users can browse feature announcements after startup dialogs, or dismiss them until the next launch.
  • Release installers and notes are published to both the private source repository and the public download repository.

Downloads and signing

macOS Apple Silicon and Intel, Windows x64, and Linux x64 installers are published at https://github.com/autohandai/autohand-code-desktop/releases/tag/v0.0.15. No npm package is published.

macOS installers use ad-hoc signing and are not Apple notarized. Windows installers are unsigned. macOS Gatekeeper and Windows SmartScreen may require additional approval to launch. Artifact provenance records the actual signing status.

Autohand v0.0.14

@igorcosta igorcosta released this 12 Oct 03:43

Autohand Desktop 0.0.14

What's new

  • Refreshed the macOS installer with Wellington artwork and Axo, the Autohand axolotl. A playful trail points from the app toward Applications, with the draggable icons aligned to the artwork.
  • Open owned cloud sessions through Desktop deep links, with account-aware session resolution and dedicated cloud-session windows.
  • Updated Desktop documentation and workspace screenshots.

Downloads

Installers are available for macOS Apple Silicon, macOS Intel, Windows x64, and Linux x64. Downloads and release notes are published in the public Autohand Desktop repository; application source remains private. No npm package is published.

Version 0.0.14 uses an explicitly authorized unsigned release exception. macOS builds have an ad hoc integrity seal but are not Apple Developer signed or notarized. Windows installers are not publisher-signed. Artifact provenance records identify the source commit and signing state.

Autohand v0.0.13

Choose a tag to compare

@igorcosta igorcosta released this 09 Oct 04:39

Autohand 0.0.13

This release brings account management, navigation customization, and connected workspaces together in Autohand Desktop.

What's new

  • Open the sidebar's More menu to reach hidden destinations and pinned projects. Choose Customize to show, hide, and reorder navigation in a floating panel. Your choices are saved.
  • Agent Preferences and Agent Accounts now sit below Agent providers in the Coding settings category. Manage Autohand and other coding-agent accounts in one dedicated view, including separate accounts for work and personal projects.
  • Connections settings bring shared MCP integrations and remote execution hosts together, with separate preferences for external access and sandbox configuration.
  • Inbox, Kanban, and workspace improvements support organizing and following agent work across projects.
  • Cloud workspace setup now uses remote repository cloning and branch-scoped fetching, with clearer startup failures and improved support for larger project snapshots.

Reliability

  • Improved desktop workspace packaging and account-aware execution.
  • Preserved upstream license attribution while correcting the brand identity CI check.
  • Updated migration and concurrency regression coverage.

Downloads

Installers are provided for macOS Apple Silicon, macOS Intel, Linux x64, and Windows x64. Downloads are published in the public Autohand Desktop repository; application source remains private. No npm package is published.

Version 0.0.13 uses an explicitly authorized unsigned release exception. macOS builds have an ad hoc integrity seal, but are not Apple Developer signed or notarized. Windows installers are not publisher-signed. macOS Gatekeeper and Windows SmartScreen may require confirmation before first launch. Artifact provenance records identify the source commit and signing state.

Autohand Code Desktop v0.0.12

Choose a tag to compare

@igorcosta igorcosta released this 02 Oct 01:44

Autohand 0.0.12

This release makes Autohand Desktop easier to set up, navigate, and extend.

Changed

  • A dedicated icon navigation rail replaces the Autohand Code/Studio dropdown. Choose the compact rail or sidebar labels in Appearance; your choice is saved.
  • First-run onboarding now guides you through connecting an agent, choosing a default harness, adding a project, and starting your first thread. You can also explore first and return to setup later.
  • Agent skills now have Installed, Discover, and Registries views, with search, provider filters, expandable details, and installation into the portable Autohand skills library. Autohand and skills.sh are included by default, and you can add public GitHub or HTTPS JSON registries.
  • Desktop includes a verified native Autohand Code CLI. If no CLI is installed, Desktop prepares its bundled copy without requiring a separate download. Existing installations are detected, older versions use the CLI's upgrade command, and newer versions are preserved. Background update failures keep the working CLI available.
  • About, Changelog, and Third-party licenses use Autohand Sans. About displays the release version and source commit dynamically, with a green check and an action to copy the full commit.

Reliability

  • Registry installation preserves existing skills, copies supporting files, rejects unsafe paths, and identifies installations by source and skill rather than name alone.
  • Collapsed navigation panes cannot receive keyboard focus. Shared disclosure motion and reduced-motion support are retained.
  • The bundled CLI is checked against its upstream SHA-256 before packaging and again when prepared for use. Its license is included in Third-party licenses.

Downloads

Installers are published for macOS arm64, macOS x64, Linux x64, and Windows x64. No npm package is published.

These installers were built by our private source repository's CI and are now published here for public downloads. The application source remains closed. The macOS app has an ad hoc integrity seal, not an Apple Developer signature or notarization. Artifact records identify this signing state and bind downloads to this repository's source commit; they do not claim an official signing identity.

Source commit: 3c26f8aadb344975c696cc49a70f7192a1924b0b. Installers are unchanged from the original CI release. This version still contains the older private updater destination; future builds will use this public repository.
