v5.30.0
- Reviewer seats can carry a shell, with mutating commands blocked. A second
reviewer template,clodex-team-reviewer-shell, spawns with Bash for
git/ls/cat/sed/node --testso a review can measure instead of deriving;
writes, deletes, commits, package managers and network fetches are refused by
the CLI. Pick it per ticket withreviewer:clodex-team-reviewer-shellon task
add or task start. The default reviewer is unchanged, and remains the one to use where a
shell is not wanted. - Preferences ▸ Env no longer truncates the variable name. The name column
took a fixed third of the row, so a longCLAUDE_CODE_*key was cut to an
ellipsis while a five-letter value sat in the rest of the row. The name now
takes what it needs and the value takes the rest; both carry the full text as
a tooltip. - Clodex ships default env vars for wrapped seats (token reminder off, turn
updates off, bash audience note off, cozy teapot relaxed, stream idle timeout
30 min) into the global scope on first launch; edit or delete them in
Preferences ▸ Env and the change sticks across launches; Restore shipped
defaults brings back any you deleted. - A plugin can now ship its own skills and agents, and a seat sees them only
when it has that plugin. Dropskills/<name>/SKILL.mdandagents/<name>.md
into a plugin folder and they arrive namespaced by the plugin's id — invoke a
skill as/<plugin-id>:<skill>, delegate to an agent as
<plugin-id>:<agent>. A seat whose plugin list excludes the plugin never sees
either, and disabling the plugin drops them at that seat's next start. A folder
carrying only skills or agents is now a valid plugin, so a pure content pack
needs no code. Those skills and agents now also SHOW: the Skills and Agents
checklists (New Session, Edit Session, the per-session popovers) and the two
library drawers group them under their plugin's name, listed rather than
toggleable — a seat that has the plugin sees them marked as arriving with it,
and a seat that does not sees what enabling it would add.
Apple Silicon (arm64) build. Intel (x64) users can build from source (npm install && npx electron-rebuild && npm run dist:mac).
Unsigned (ad-hoc) build: first launch needs right-click → Open, or xattr -cr /Applications/Clodex.app.
