Project Overview

Examify is a standalone desktop application designed to simplify and automate the exam scheduling process in universities, with a particular focus on supporting Student Affairs departments.

The application takes student enrollments, course data, classroom information, and capacity constraints as input (CSV or JSON formats) and automatically generates an exam schedule that satisfies key academic and logistical rules:

  • No student has two exams at the same time
  • No consecutive exams for a student
  • A maximum of two exams per day per student
  • Classroom capacities are strictly respected

By enforcing these constraints, Examify produces a fair, practical, and manageable exam timetable for both students and administrative staff.

Generated schedules can be:

  • Viewed interactively
  • Searched and filtered
  • Edited or regenerated when needed
  • Exported in multiple formats

Examify supports both Turkish and English, has a simple user interface, and requires no external services or additional software.

This project was developed as part of the SE 302 course.
