ScreenMind 0.2.5 introduces browser-based meeting detection, comprehensive privacy guards in incognito mode, atomic crash-safe settings, 11 critical bug fixes, and 10 new test suites.

Highlights

• Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, and Webex in Browser Tabs: Now detected and transcribed automatically—not just native desktop apps. Patterns are strictly anchored to tab title conventions so tutorial videos (e.g. YouTube) do not trigger false recordings.
• True Incognito Silence: Meeting detection is suspended, active recordings are automatically stopped, and bookmark captures are rejected while incognito mode is active.
• Crash-Safe Settings: settings.json is saved atomically via temporary file replacement. Corrupted configurations are backed up as settings.json.corrupt-<timestamp> rather than silently overwritten.

Bug Fixes

Critical

• Re-analyze 500 error: Preserves OCR bounding boxes, active window URLs, and routes voice memos to re-transcription rather than image analysis.
• Settings JWT filter preservation: Fixed a bug where saving settings through the dashboard stripped the jwt_filter key. Added migration to restore missing values.
• Cross-platform meeting detection: Fixed process checking on macOS/Linux by using the OS-reported window owner name instead of heuristic name guessing.

Analytics & UI

• Analytics Day/Week/Month toggle: Fixed date ranges showing today's data only; Week now spans 7 days and Month spans 30 days based on true timestamps.
• Date Pickers clamped: All 5 dashboard date pickers now clamp future dates to today with notification feedback.
• Focus streak notification: Restored the missing call from the analysis worker with a 3-minute staleness guard.
• Bookmarks card actions: Deleting or re-analyzing a bookmarked capture updates the bookmarks list properly rather than failing on timeline references.

Privacy & Retention

• File cleanup on delete: Deleting activities, running retention policies, or clearing date ranges now removes memo WAV files and screenshot files from disk along with DB rows.
• Incognito bookmarks blocked: Prohibits manual and automated bookmark captures when incognito is toggled on.

Agents

• Timestamp formatting: Fixed microsecond string slicing that caused timestamps to render as [5.123] instead of [14:30].
• Meeting action context: Budgeted prompt space to share meeting summaries up to 600 characters so meeting agents capture actionable summaries.
• Dashboard plugin approval: Dashboard sends required X-Confirm authorization header for Python plugin approval.
• SDK port resolution: SDK dynamically resolves api_port from settings instead of hardcoding port 7878.

New Features

• Prompt KV caching: Enabled cache_prompt: true for llama-server calls to reuse system prompt cache and reduce analysis latency.
• Backend voice memo indicator: is_voice_memo is verified on the backend via file existence instead of client-side filename parsing.
• Wayland & Flatpak browser support: Added compatibility for Google Chrome, Brave, Edge, and Flatpak IDs on Linux.
