Notesify v1.2.3 — Agentic Learning & Desktop Polish
Notesify v1.2.3 — Agentic Learning & Desktop Polish
This release makes Iris a more capable learning assistant with persistent learning tasks and progress tracking, more reliable native tool calling, and desktop UI refinements for Windows.
What's New
- Agentic Learning Tasks — Iris can now break broad learning goals into concrete practice milestones via
create_learning_tasks. Tasks appear directly above the chat composer, so your current learning path stays visible while you work with Iris. - Persistent Learning History — Tasks progress through
Pending→In Progress→Completed→Archived, and completed work remains permanently available for progress and mastery tracking. - Native Tool Calling — Iris now uses native assistant/tool calling protocols for more reliable tool execution and fewer tool-call hallucinations.
- Windows Desktop Controls — Improved fullscreen and focus-mode layouts in the frameless Electron app so Iris and Note Editor controls no longer overlap native window buttons.
- Improved Side Rail Dragging — Fixed a layout issue where expanding the collapsed notes panel could leave an invisible gap; note cards and focus mode now stay synchronized while resizing.
- Cleaner Composer — Removed redundant tool buttons while keeping
/slash commands, Study tools, Web search, and deep reasoning easily accessible.
Technical Improvements
- Added the
LearningTaskmodel and supporting task lifecycle services. - Refined Iris's learning, task-decomposition, quiz, and behavioral prompt rules.
- Improved synchronization between resizable panel state and desktop focus modes.
- Hardened interactive window regions in frameless Windows mode.
