Charts:
csfd.chart()returns ČSFD's charts of movies and series: the best and worst rated, the most favourite and the most controversial. Each place comes with its position, ID, title, year, poster, countries, genres, directors and actors, rating and number of ratings (the favourite chart has fans instead). It's also available as:- MCP tool
get_chart - REST endpoint
/chart/:type/:category
await csfd.chart('movies', 'best'); // places 1–99, one request await csfd.chart('series', 'worst', { limit: 300 }); // a request per hundred, up to 1000
- MCP tool
📦 Maintenance
- Type checking in CI for the library, the REST and MCP servers and the CLI. Until now nothing type-checked the servers and the CLI.
- TypeScript 7 setup:
verbatimModuleSyntax, import typefor every type-only import (enforced by the compiler and oxlint), and VS Code on the native TypeScript 7 language server.
Apart from the charts, the built package is unchanged, so updating is all you need to do.
