AJAX Search for Elementor 2.0.0 (formerly Ele Ajax Search). A live search widget for Elementor, free or Pro.

New

• Settings → AJAX Search: choose the searchable content types, search titles, excerpts and/or content, set the minimum characters and typing delay.
• WooCommerce: SKU and variation SKU search, sale and "From" prices, catalog visibility and out-of-stock handling (hidden products never appear).
• Widget: four styles (Classic, Rounded, Minimal, Inline), multiple content types per widget, content type labels, excerpts, prices, grouped results and a "View all results" link, each with style controls.

Improved

• Search runs through a read-only REST endpoint with no nonce, so it keeps working on cached pages and behind CDNs.
• Only enabled, published content is returned (never drafts, private or password-protected posts, coupons or templates), with at most 20 results.
• A real search form underneath: Enter opens the normal search page when no result is selected.
• Plain JavaScript, no jQuery, loaded only with the widget; fixed duplicate requests.
• Accessible: combobox and listbox roles, arrow keys, Escape, and a screen reader result count.

Tested with WordPress 7.1, Elementor 4.3 and WooCommerce 11.2. Requires PHP 7.4+.

Upgrading from 1.0.0: the widget was renamed, so re-add the AJAX Search widget to pages that used the old one.
