MacTalk 1.1.3
This release focuses on fixing permission handling and making the signed release behave correctly on macOS 26.2.
Fixed
- microphone permission now prompts correctly in the signed release build
- release signing now preserves the entitlements required for microphone input and auto-paste
- signed app bundles now launch normally on macOS 26.2 instead of falling back to the inner binary
- permission guidance alerts now use the MacTalk app icon instead of a generic blank document icon
- added fallback HUD, Settings, and app-picker UIs for macOS 26.0–26.3 so the app remains usable below 26.4
- build helper now refuses to bypass LaunchServices by directly launching the inner executable
