4.1.1
Patch release: two fixes found while reviewing 4.1.0 and measuring the demo.
π Bug Fixes
- A fenced code block inside a list item no longer grows a stray empty code block after the list. The fence scanner accepted an opener behind a list marker but rejected its closer once the item's content indent reached four spaces β every nested bullet and every numbered step from
10.up β so the fence looked open forever and the completer appended a second closer, on complete content too. Closers are now measured against the opener's depth, and the completer emits its own closer at that depth. Predates 4.0. - An unterminated fence inside a blockquote or alert is closed inside it (`> ```) instead of at column 0, where it ended the quote and opened a fresh top-level fence.
β‘ Streaming animation
- A bulk update of
contentis no longer animated; only streamed appends are. Replacing a partial document with a full one β the demo's "Show All", a 5% prefix followed by the whole 59 KB README β mounted ~10,000 word spans that each started a CSS animation in the same frame: roughly two seconds of stalled main thread, identical since before 4.0. Each update is now classified as the first parse, a streamed append, or bulk (a replacement, or a single append of more than ~2 KB), and each block captures that answer when its own text changes. Measured on the demo: first paint 880 ms β 370 ms, zero frames over 100 ms, and streaming still animates word by word.animateOnMountandstaticare unchanged.
