Compared to beta13, the current beta14 + hotfix r1–r3 adds/fixes:

  • Added FTP Server MVP with Android foreground service support.
  • Added authenticated read/write FTP access and optional anonymous read-only mode.
  • Added optional client connection approval with Allow / Reject / timeout handling.
  • Added FTP Start / Stop / Restart controls and persistent notification actions.
  • Added FTP transfer/event logging with protected password handling.
  • Fixed beta14 startup crash caused by invalid QML selectByMouse usage.
  • Added resizable split view on tablets with a larger touch/drag area.
  • Added video thumbnails using Android media frame extraction.
  • Added persistent thumbnail disk cache for images and videos.
  • Improved thumbnail cache keys so thumbnails are not regenerated on every folder visit or resize.
  • Improved Home screen loading performance when returning from folders.
  • Added shared Home data caching across single-pane / dual-pane transitions.
  • Fixed the second Home panel storage overview showing no data in tablet dual-pane mode.
  • Separated lightweight Recent/Favorites/Places updates from expensive storage re-probing.
  • Preserved beta13 portrait split behavior and existing startup optimizations.
