Entity Runtime 0.28.0
Added
entity-cligains a library target:entity_cli::cli::Cliis the clap definition theentitybinary parses, so a tool can read the exact command line. The binary behaves as before.
Changed
entity inspect,graph,create,executeandlistdescribe--formatin their--help.- The documentation is one site, built from
website/and served at https://beyond10x.github.io/entity-runtime/: getting started, concepts (including service semantics and Eventlog-backed storage through 0.27.0), task guides, and a CLI reference, crate list and status page generated from the code. The older copies underdocs/guide/are removed; the site's pages replace them. - An
EventlogRecordedStore's verified model holds each committed record once rather than three times: its record, history and batch indexes share one copy, and so does the handle's memory of the histories it verified. AProviderTrackedhandle also moves each record's and each batch's stored bytes from its capture into the model instead of copying them, and no longer keeps a second copy of those bytes beside the model. The default policy's bounded decode cache still keeps its own decoded entry of each record it remembers. Every answer is unchanged. On the 96-field probe store, the resident memory aProviderTrackedopen adds is 0.47 times what it was at 601 events and 0.43 times at 1,203 events. examples/aep/executable-system-specification.yaml'sconformoperation accepts any one ofess_conformance,ess_conformance_v2oress_conformance_coverage_v1at 1, as AEP's ladder now does; it is refused only when none of the three reaches 1. The AEP lifecycle fixture is refreshed to AEP5a2a0e5.entity-eventlog, and the Eventlog features ofentity-cli,entity-sqliteandentity-postgres, depend on Eventlog's released0.7.0tag instead of the unreleased revision6983cc25. The Eventlog code is the same; its crates now report version 0.7.0.
Closes #59 (a verified model holds each committed record once).
